1st May 2023 - Session 64 - Is there room in the Doom of the Desert? - Eoin

The party takes the 5:15 whale towards the coast with a connecting roc to reach their destination, the home of the Doom of the Desert. The giants travelling with us agree to leave a few of the trained rocs behind in case we need them for a getaway. As the party enters the amphitheatre, they see a ruined church. Dunbarr, Dipple and Bearnabus enter and the ground gives way, making them fall down into a sandy sinkhole. Graupel heads around to find a safe route down. Kin explores the amphitheatre and sees statues beginning to animate and come alive. Everyone heads down into the sinkhole to get away. In the depths, Dipple finds a cavern full of dangerous worms but Kin and Dunbarr make quick work of them. Further in, Bearnabus sees a glyph that could trap the party and disables its magic. Dipple creates an illusion as if the tunnel has collapsed preventing the animated statues from chasing them. The next room is filled with massive amounts of gold. 23rd April 2023 - Session 63 - Where is Imryth? - Eoin

Heckaton and the party arrive back at the throne room to find the place in chaos. The throne room is a makeshift hospital where Giants are being treated for injuries. It looks like Imryth has wrecked the place and taken a magical ring which makes her immune to psychic damage. The party sets up shop near the scrying pool. Bearnabus uses the jar of dragon blood and sees Imryth near an ancient ruined amphitheatre in a desert with snowy mountains in the distance. We are told this must be the home of the Doom of the Desert. In the middle of the ruined amphitheatre is a hole. Could be where the Kraken lives. Statues are scattered throughout. Harshnag is alive and tied up somewhere nearby a snakehead statue. The octopus from the Grand Dame is living its best life on the sea bed. Heckaton offers us 10,000 GP to kill Imryth. Klauth gives Dipple a claw of Wyrm rune. Kin gains a potion of giant size. Dipple also gets that potion, he gives it to Dunbarr who then smashes it on the ground. Dunbarr a

16th April 2023 - Session 62 - The ghost ship Morkoth - Eoin

The action continues on the Morkoth with Orcabus using splash to demolish the deckhands and then rolling off the side into the water. Dipple's animated objects are smashing the other deckhands as Kin fires a hail of arrows at the captain whispering "overruled" (because the captain's name was Rool). The enemy wizard creates a crescent half-circle dome of wind force to protect himself and the mercenary. Graupel runs over to Dipple's unconscious body and contemplates stealing his healing potions and decides to heal Dipple instead. Awakening from their slumber Goripple loses his gripple and punches the wall of force and then the ground in a fit of rage. From below the deck, the Merrow fires a beautifully arching harpoon which lands directly into Dunbarr's internal organs.  Dunbarr then uses misty step to escape the harpoon and travels into the wall of force right beside the wizard and decapitated him brutally shouting "spell that out". Graupel re-engages

19th March 2023 - Session 61 - Kastan the Dead - Eoin

As the battle begins to unfold, two wizards and a mercenary teleport aboard the kelpie's kiss. The hideous face of Kastan is unmistakable. Kin immediately activates Operation Human Shield hiding behind sailors and party members alike. Dunbarr, Grapel, Dipple and Kin team up to attack Kastan. Kastan looks at  Dunbarr and says "You are very far from your homeland" and Dunbarr replies "You are very close to your grave". Tholtz, the other dark wizard, casts some very dark magic on Dipple to stun him. Kin fires a 62-damage arrow at Kastan as Graupel beheads him in a killing blow. Under the ship, Bearnabus wild shapes into a male killer whale and breaches out of the water smashing into the top floor of the Morkoth crushing many of the deckhands.

12th March 2023 - Session 59 - Heckafun saving Heckaton - Eoin

The party heads to the feeder ship at the dock to get some info. The crew bring the party to the captain, Tazlan. Dipple stays behind to chat with a ship hand. Graupel begins by intimidating the captain stating matter of factly that we will kill every living thing on the Morkoth. The captain looks worried and says the Morkoth is probably near the Whalebone isles based on their direction and travelling speed. Dipple also tries intimidation on the deckhand, casting frost on the ground and threatening to kill him. The deckhand says all sorts of weird stuff are on the ship and even under it but he has no idea what they are. The party leaves the feeder ship and climbs back aboard the kelpies kiss and heads out. On our travels, we meet Merfolk. They seem friendly enough and invite us to an underwater rave. We give it a rain check after we explain what rain is. 4 days pass until we arrive at the Morkoth. We keep our distance and Bearnabus jumps into the water and turns into a giant octopus an

19th February 2023 - Session 59 - The Note-takers Revenge - Eoin

The party is boating it up big time on the Grand Dame. It turns out that it was a powerful dragon that is casting power word kill on those the dragon controls. Kin uses the hat of disguise to find out that the wizard in the Kraken cult is none other than Kastan. Graupel is communing with an octopus to get more information. She lifts the incredibly heavy water tank using the handles, brings the octopus to the edge of the ship and agrees to free it in exchange for info. The octopus tells her of blublublublubblub, a 30 tentacled creature in control of the cult. Graupel releases the octopus and stores a labelled jar of tank goo for future scrying. After arriving back at port at 3am the party heads to Neverwinter. Kin spills all of the beans to Emerald Enclave explaining we think King Heckaton is on a squid-like ship northwest of the trackless sea. Bearnabus and Dunbarr spill the beans to the Harpers on how to properly transfer the soul of an axe from one axe to another. Dipple heads to the

6th February 2023 - Session 58 - Hot on the trail of King Heckaton - Ciara

The party work hard to try and convince Saoirse that Imrith's behaviour has been suspicious and she should not be trusted but Saoirse stays loyal to Imirth.  She has been like a mother to her.  Uther is led by Saoirse.  Bearnabus tries to dispel magic from Imrith.  There is clearly a great deal of magic surrounding her but the spell fails.   Saoirse is very happy the adventurers have agreed to help find her father.  She provides them with 2 letters and the golden goose token.  One that states the mission they are on to investigate the disappearance of the King for the acting Queen.  The other absolving them of any retaliation by the cloud Countess.   They are escorted back to the summoning circle where a cloud giant teleports them to Yartar.  The party sleep in the Poison Dagger to recover before the investigation.  The party get clothes suitable for sneaking on to the Grand Dame and Sharpie gets a new axe handle.  The party infiltrate the Grand Dame using their sneaking cunning.
