6th March 2022 - Session 39 – The Eye of the All-Father – Matthew

 Graupel is cursed with bestow curse. 

Turns out the dragon is a wyrmling.

The battle continues with Kin firing off arrows, kicking ass. Dunbarr in the heat of battle swinging his axe taking combatants out left, right and centre with Bearnabus in their elk form helping out with a few rams and hoof attacks. A couple of traps set by shamans went off, which was more of an annoyance than a hindrance. 

The wyrmling slowly creeps away from the battle. 

Dipple the ape and Harshnag are destroying all around them. 

Graupel and Wormblood are facing off. Wormblood is getting a few hits in but he isn’t exactly posing much of an issue.

Dunbarr – “Kablamo Shamano!” Misty steps behind the shaman to attack.

The shaman are all taken out and the curse on Graupel is lifted but this was unexpected as usually the curses still stick around. 

The battle rages on with the team doing massive damage to the enemy combatants. At one point Dunbarr is on the verge of being knocked out but he is able to heal himself.

Graupel is having great success kicking Wormblood’s ass and he blurts out “How dare you betray us?!” but he’s on his last legs. Before Graupel can do the finishing blow, Harshnag simple walks over and knocks him out. Upon inspection, it looks like Wormblood is wearing an amulet that gives him the right to lead. Graupel finishes off Wormblood by chopping his head off and taking the amulet for themselves. They declare that they are the rightful champion and say to the remaining warriors that “I’ll be back soon”.

Dunbarr chops off the shaman’s head and also kills the other one. 

There are two frozen doors at the top of the stairs that Harshnag tries to bash open with no luck. Dipple comes in handy and can melt the ice away with a well-aimed firebolt. 

Dunbarr, in his always confident stride, can push the doors open himself.

In the room, there are 6 statues of giants and 1 big giant. 

Harshnag investigates the statues and notices that the frost giant is missing its axe. He slots his axe in but nothing happens.

The gang investigate the door to the north. There are stairs to the left and right and a hall in front of them. Dunbarr and Graupel venture in but suddenly a boulder rolls towards them. Graupel is able to make it back to the entrance and Dunbarr misty steps behind the boulder trapping him in the room. Dunbarr can see a stone giant that is moving towards him that looks like it was in a position of pushing a boulder.
