15th September 2022 - Session 51 - The Palace of the Countess Sansuri - Eoin

The party considers how to face the cloud giant. They head towards Silverymoon to buy 5 potions of feather falling in case they are yeeted off the cloud castle. They then meet up with an old friend, Zephyrs to gain some intel. He tells them that the cloud giant is called Sansuri. She is a powerful magic wielder and has protected her magical conch by placing it in another dimension. Her cloud castle is called Lyn Armael.

The party begins discussing plans of action, mostly revolving around blackmailing Sansuri. The ideas of cutting off one of Sansere's children's hands or cutting off a bandit's hand and casting enlarge on them are played with.

Fear permeates the party as they ride their blimp towards the cloud castle Lyn Armael with no real plan. As they approach the castle they hear the sounds of screaming coming from the basement. As they land on a landing platform they see blue humanoid birds patrolling the skies around the castle. They are met with Chrisario the Castilian. He calls us puny folk and brings us towards his queen. He talks about the bronze dragon they are torturing in the basement. The dragon's name is Fellagulas, the flying misfortune.

They are brought on a long journey through the castle with lots of traps and dangers before finally arriving at the meeting room. A room with a hole in the centre which I assume is used for ceremonial yeeting. It has 5 blue Aarakocras surrounding its edge. The screams from the basement are much closer now and it is clear they are of a dragon. Dipple wants to save this dragon, maybe using a dimension door.
