The Storm King's Thunder (Dublin, Ireland)

As the battle comes to a close, Jesop from the Emerald Enclave appears at the entrance with a student in shackles. Kin begins discussing Kastan and the jars of mucus. He draws Jesop an incredibly detailed stick figure of a woman in a purple dress. Jesop looks lost but does remember a secret organisation long disbanded called the order of the black network but that can't possibly have anything to do with this. Kin then ties Sharpy with 75ft of rope and sinks it to the bottom of the red water trying to find the bottom. Sharpy gets stuck 75ft down. It didn't feel like the bottom though, just caught along the side. Dunbarr summons Sharpy back and the rope is given back to Dipple. Dipple begins to feel sick at just the touch of the red liquid on the rope. Dipple scoops up some of the red liquid in a jar. Graupel begins to ritual cast of speak with animals to talk with a rat that Dipple had previously forced to drink the magical clear water. The party leaves Graupel forever as they h...

In the creepy bloody water ritual room, we find the party facing off against Kastan and two water elementals. Bearnabus creates a stone wall around Kastan. Dunbarr jumps into it with misty step and using action surge, he gets a few hits in before Kastan disintegrates the wall saying "you will not be able to stop my plan, we will meet again" as he walks 30ft away and summons 6 crulls (crunchies). Water elemental A and Jeff attack each other because of crown of madness. Dipple's panther doesn't know what's going on but successfully does some splashing damage to the elementals. Dipple, Graupel and Hootnabus face off against the crunchies and a cycle of poison, paralyzation, and grapples. Hootnabus taking too much damage becoming Bearnabus once again. Kin runs at the speed of a sneaky elf to get help from the Emerald Enclave. Jeff regains his control and slams the panther killing it. Dipple polymorphs into a giant ape and stomps crunchy Bob. Dunbarr grapples (hugs) Ka...

Kin is heading to meet the Emerald Enclave. He puts his hood up as he arrives at the entrance of a big building to remain anonymous.  Kin is looking for Jesop. While walking through he also recognises Keir and Umbra but sneaks past unnoticed. Kin arrives at Jesop’s room and initiates the secret knock.  Kin tells Jesop about the wacky adventures he’s on. Kin tells Jesop about the conches and the search for the relics.  Jesop and the Enclave have been searching for the storm giant's lair.  Serissa (the storm giant king’s daughter) might be an ally and she might know where her father is.  Someone might be working against the Enclave and blocking their communications.  Eagles can’t find the lair either.  Jesop offers to help the quest to find the storm king. Serissa’s mother was actually an ally to Neverwinter, Queen Neri was her name and she passed away 20 years ago.  Jesop asks to pass on a message and keep an eye out for an Enclave leak/spy.  ...

All members levelled up to 9. Story background items: We are collecting Giant artefacts and have recently acquired a gold tooth. The metal piece we found was sent to Fred Moonstar, who couldn't figure out what it was so he sent it to a mage in Neverwinter. We also sent mucus to Neverwinter through the Emerald Enclave. Kin since received a letter saying the mucus was from an ancient monster that hadn’t been seen in a long time. The Moonstars have a family home in Neverwinter.  The Harper HQ and Emerald Enclave HQ are also in Neverwinter. Khastan is rumoured to be in Neverwinter.  The group is in Neverwinter and breaks up to do tasks. Dunbarr goes to visit the Harpers to look for Khastan, Graupel & Bearnabus go to the Moonstar home to visit, Dipple went for a chat with the Dragon people Arzastra (Dragonborn who serves a dragon lord from the North), Kin goes to see Barnell Jessops in the Emerald Enclave.  Dipple Dipple updates Arzastra, who is pro-giant-collapse, on our ...

It is daytime, around 6pm. The party arrives at Morgur’s Mound. It sort of looks like a wingless dragon. It feels like we are being watched. The party decides they should explore the area. The cairns look like they have been recently disturbed. Bipeds likely involved, wearing shoes. Plundering and desecrating the area. Some of the holes in the mound look like stuff has already been taken from it. Dunbarr investigates the rock. Looks like the mound was manufactured rather than being a natural mound. Dunbarr starts digging. Graupel starts digging in a dip in the middle but doesn’t find anything. Rather than digging, Dipple fireballs some rocks out of the way and discovers a little pouch that contains Dust of Sneezing and Coughing. Potent stuff.  Kin and Bearnabus dig into the mound and come to a structured rock formation. We find a scroll that appears to be of level 3. Bearnabus finds a gold tooth of a fire giant. Once the tooth was touched, a great rumbling was heard. The cair...

The team arrives at Raven Rock at 4am. Graupel knows there are two tribes living here, a wolf one and a raven one. They're probably not mates. It's not as cold here and Dipple puts on his pendant. Dunbar and Bearnabus check out the altar and the other 3 go to the Raven Rock. There are magical auras on the ground and altar. Suddenly there are wolves. Fighting ensues and Wolfnabus appears. There is much grumpiness. Suicide fireball kills one werewolf. Dunbar knocks out a wolf and Dipple uses every shape of fire to kill another wolf. Graupel dismantles a wolf while Dunbar kills another and Dipple burns the last one to death.  Sun comes up and the unconscious wolf turns into a barbarian. Arak the barbarian doesn't want us to desecrate the altar. There's much debate on how the were-ing affects a druid in wild shape Dunbar kills Arak, topples the altar with Graupel, and they both dig through rock looking for an artefact. Dipple and Wolfnabus dig under the Raven Rock and find ...

The party started to move into the town to join the festival in honour of the tribe's new leader.  Graupel, who fears public speaking, is requested to do a speech. She moves to the top of the room, and a wave of anxiety swells inside. She bottles the speech and instead chooses to smash her glass against the ground in the hopes it will appear leaderlike to the barbarian tribe. Dunbarr, a true ride or die, follows suit and smashes his glass in support.  Kin re-enters the tent having been outside on a reconnaissance trip. Dipple seizes this event for himself and leaves the tent unnoticed, heading towards the gong’s position.  Dunbarr and Bearnabus take part in the festival, they focus their efforts on appearing inconspicuous by drinking heavily with the rest of the tribe.  Bearnabus secretly swaps out Dunbarr’s alcohol for a local caffeinated beverage.  Bearnabus and Dunbarr convince the village shaman to get drunk alongside them.  Cut to later that evening, t...
